Alwaght-The Ministry of
Defense of Iraq announced on Wednesday that more than two dozen ISIS
terrorists, including Arab nationals and foreigners, have been killed in a
rocket attack in the district of Fallujah in the Iraqi province of al-Anbar,
located roughly 69 kilometers west of Baghdad.
“Military intelligence carried
out missile strikes on ISIS hideouts in Fallujah,” IraqiNews.com
cited Ministry of Defense as saying
“The bombing resulted
in killing of 26 ISIS elements, including Arabs and foreigners, in
addition to the destruction of a large arms depot and two vehicles,” the
Ministry added.
On 4 January 2014, the Iraqi
government lost control of the city. Army fights to retake the strategic city
from ISIS terrorist group.
