Alwaght-The former Zionist
Deputy Minister of War, Efraim Sneh, published an article in the Zionist 'Yediot
Ahronot' Newspaper saying, "The possibility of a confrontation with
Hezbollah on the northern borders is not out of the agenda, the recent events
in Lebanon and Syria witness that such confrontation has a high
probability." He continued, "Hezbollah owns more than hundred
thousands of missiles and rockets. (The Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed
Hassan) Nasrallah declared recently that 'Fateh-110 rocket' – capable of
carrying an explosive head weighing half-a-ton – is not among the most
sophisticated missiles in the possession of his organization."
According to Ephraim Sneh, it
is speculated that 1500 missile ready to be fired against the Israeli regime by
Hezbollah per day in case of any future confrontation. According to Sneh, such
encounter might lead to a great damage to the Israeli regime with loss of
properties and lives; and shut down of vital industrial, power, transportation,
and health centers; not for a short period of time.
The former Israeli deputy minister
noted that about 4500 missiles and projectile rockets were launched toward the
occupied lands in the recent aggression against Gaza Strip in an operation
known as "Strong Cliff". The damage was slight due to the "Iron
Dome", Sneh claims. The total number of launched missiles in the
"Strong Cliff" operation which lasted fifty days is as much as
Missile fired by Hezbollah in a three-day war. The widespread destruction in Israeli
regime disrupts the effect of 'triumphs' in the front lines. The heavy, accurate
and long-distance weapons cannot be intercepted by the "Iron Dome";
these weapons are among a 'magic wand' system which was successfully
experimented at the end past March.
The former Zionist Deputy
Minister of War, Ephraim Sineh, continued, "If not for the procrastination
of the Israeli administration, particularly on the background of the budget
issue, we would have had an executive 'magic wand' system". However,
according to Ephraim, the number of threatening missiles targeting the occupied
lands is immeasurably larger compared to the number of interceptive missiles
owned by the Israeli regime He concludes that the interceptive missiles in the
'magic wand' system are more expensive than those in the 'Iron Dome' system.
Thus, the Israeli regime is facing a threatening budget issue .
Ephraim Sineh ended his article
saying, "Time is a critical component, this is why priority goes for
creating a system that can protect the Israeli people, the state, the
facilities of the army forces and the vital infrastructures; in case there was
not enough protection of the state, the attacking options themselves would be
the subject of doubt."
