Alwaght- During series of operations over past 24 hours, Afghan security forces have killed more than 104 Taliban terrorists including several top commanders. Afghan forces arrested eighty nine Taliban members in Farah, Helmand, Badghis and Kunduz provinces.
The security forces casualties was not mentioned in a statement published by the Interior Ministry, Dailytimes.com.pk reported.
Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said, this was Afghan security forces' strong answer to the start of Taliban spring offensive “Azm”, Khaama Press reported.
In a press release on Saturday, the Ministry of Interior said, Afghan National Police in collaboration with Afghan National Army and National Directorate of Security conducted joint military operations against terrorists in different areas of Herat, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Badghis, Farah, Paktika, Helmand, Kunduz, Faryab and Jawzjan provinces.
