Alwaght-Since the moment, that Saudi
Arabia announced that it will launch an aggression against the innocent Yemeni
people, it was anticipated that Saudi Arabia will experience decisive defeat and
will not achieve its announced goals regarding its military incapability's. The
Saudi decision to launch its aggression against the Yemeni people was not based
on military wisdom and logic. It was the result of miscalculation associated
with illusion, and probably wrong assumption.
Saudi Arabia claimed that it launched its aggression
for the sake of restoring the legitimacy represented by Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi
and his government back to Yemen. The second claimed goal by the Saudi regime was
to force Ansarullah Movement to withdraw from Sanaa. The Saudis also hoped in
their aggression that they would disarm Ansarullah Movement.
Another Saudi goal was obliging the
Yemenis to come submissively to Riyadh for a dialogue leading to a formal
signing of a solution in accordance with the Persian Gulf Arab states’ initiative
and under the direct supervision of Saudi Arabia. In other words, they seek to bring
Yemen back to what was before September 2014, namely a Saudi colony.
The Saudi regime halted its assault
against Yemen; however, the fugitive President Hadi is still in Riyadh and has
no chance to return to Yemen. Moreover, before the aggression Revolutionary
Committees and Ansarullah were just in Sanaa and some provinces that do not
account for more than 40 percent of Yemen’s area. After the aggression, they have
been able to seize control over 85 percent of Yemen’s area, and no
one dares to disarm them.
Before the aggression, Ansarullah Movement
refused to conduct a dialogue in the Saudi capital; however, they agreed to
conduct it in Qatar, one of the Persian Gulf Arab States led by Saudi Arabia.
Nevertheless, after the aggression Ansarullah Movement refused to conduct a
dialogue in any of the Persian Gulf Arab States, since these have participated
in the aggression on the Yemenis. The state of Oman remains one of the possible
places to hold the dialogue, since they did not participate in the Saudi-led
aggression.
Moreover, Saudi regime lost what it had
within its reach before launching the aggression against Yemen, and the regime’s position after
the aggression is much worse than what it was before.
Ansarullah Movement succeeded to unmask
the Saudi regime’s real brutal face, as well as the
weakness of its military force. Moreover, the steadfastness of the people of
Yemen is what defeated Saudi Arabia in the war.
According to, Mohammad Jassim Al-Huthi, a
member in the political council of Ansarulah Movement, the steadfastness of the
Yemeni people changed the view of the political equations in Yemen. The
movement will pave the way for the politicians to reach a political victory in
Yemen. The Yemeni people paid the price of the revolution through resistance
and their blood. Mohammad Jassim Al-Huthi said in an interview with Fars News
Agency that the people, despite the great number of injured and martyrs do not
feel that they are defeated, since in their view of point, the revolution was
worth every drop of blood spilt.
In the same context, the Lebanese
political analyst, Bashir Mahdi Al-Samed, said that Saudi Arabia has been
defeated in Yemen, and that Ansarullah Movement will gain more worldly
recognition through national reconciliation and political dialogue. Al-Samed
noted that the end of the Saudi-led aggression on Yemen is a full-scale defeat for
Saudi Arabia, and a moral triumph for the Yemeni people.
"Saud monarchy did what they have done in
Yemen – killing thousands of innocents, supporting the terrorists and the
president's militias with finance and weapons – for the sake of maintaining
Hadi's power and suppressing the revolutionary committees; however, the Saudi
regime was not able of accomplishing any of its goals.
The commander of the Saudi-led coalition
announced the end of the twenty-seven-days-aggression against Yemen, codenamed
"Decisive Storm Operation", and the launch of another operation codenamed
"Restoring Hope".
According to Al-Asiri, the goals of
"Restoring Hope" are consisted of "protecting the civilians and
continuing in fighting against terrorism", as well as, "restoring political
structure in accordance with Security Council's decision".
