Alwaght-The Syrian Army Air Force on Wednesday launched new air strikes against ISIS and Al Nusra Front Terrorist groups positions in a number of provinces, destroying them and the terrorists’ vehicles.
In Deir Ezzor, Syrian air force destroyed 3 positions of ISIS terrorist organization and killed many of its members in al-Tharda village and to the east of al-Jafra village in the eastern Deir Ezzor province.
Elsewhere in Homs countryside, five vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, and a position of ISIS terrorists were destroyed in army airstrikes to the south of Palmyra and in the surroundings of Mehassa village in Homs countryside.
Meanwhile, a Syrian army unit eliminated earlier on Wednesday morning a terrorist group that was moving weapons and ammunition to the southeast of Zenobia School on the outskirts of Daraa al-Mahatta area in Daraa city.
Elsewhere in the city, army units operating in Daraa al-Balad targeted fortified sites and machine gun positions al-Nusra Front terrorist organization and other Takfiri groups affiliated to it near the Power Company and Khazan al-Kark, destroying the aforementioned sites completely and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
Takfiri groups positioned in Daraa al-Balad include mercenaries who infiltrated across the border with Jordan, the most known of these groups are “Liwa Tawheed al-Janoub” and “Jaish al-Yarmouk”.
Syria has been gripped by foreign-backed militancy it blames on some Western governments and their regional allies including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the Israeli regime. The foreign-sponsored conflict in Syria, which flared in March 2011, has so far claimed the lives of nearly half a million people, over one million injured and an estimated 12.5 million now displaced.
