Alwaght- A United States-led coalition allegedly fighting ISIS Takfiri terrorists group air-dropped weapons to terrorists in the town of Marea in Northern Province Aleppo on Thursday.
A local commander, requesting anonymity, said ammunition was dropped for use by terrorists. "The alliance dropped them ammunition ... Their situation was difficult," he told Reuters, without elaborating.
The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also confirmed that the weapons and ammunition were dropped.
Reuters said it was the first time the coalition had dropped weapons to militants other than the Syria Democratic Forces, an alliance fighting separately against ISIS that includes the Kurdish YPG militia.
Analysts say US government’s allegations of assisting “moderate militants (terrorists)” in Syria are a cover for Washington’s support for war on Damascus.
Washington's use of the term “moderate opposition” is a “smokescreen.” The moderate opposition was just to get out of the realization that came up very quickly that they were funding al-Qaeda and the offshoots of al-Qaeda.
The foreign-sponsored conflict in Syria, which flared in March 2011, has thus far claimed the lives of nearly half a million people and left over one million injured.
Syrian government says terrorists in the country are backed by the US and its regional allies including the Israeli regime, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
