Godfathers to Kill Their Offspring

Thursday 2 October 2014
Godfathers to Kill Their Offspring

Alwaght-The American invasion of Iraq in 2003 came under the pretext of eliminating Saddam Regimes' weapons of mass destruction (WMD). Many military experts warned that there is no WMD in Iraq, but American officials paid no attention to those warnings.  Indeed, it was an alibi for them to enter West Asia.  That war had dire consequences for Iraq and the whole region.  A decade later, the brutal terrorists from ISIS are dominating the northern regions of this devastated country. ISIS is a group initially trained and funded covertly by the US, which intended to topple Syria's president Bashar al Assad.  This savage group and some other terrorist groups are slaughtering Syrian civilians since 2011.

After three years of ISIS terrorist group's offensive, they failed to topple Bashar al Assad; therefore, America planned to attack Syria under the pretext of eliminating its chemical weapons, which failed by Russia's proposal for destroying Syria's chemical weapons under UN's observation.  One year later in 2014, as a part of America's scenario, ISIS terrorist group invaded Iraq and occupied Mosul suspiciously.  American officials, despite security pact between America and Iraq, did nothing to help Iraqi government in its fight against ISIS terrorist group.  After some months, when terrorist threatened America's interests in Iraqi Kurdistan Region, America carried out some airstrikes.  Some graphic videos of American and Britain journalists beheading were also published in cyber space to sell public opinion the issue that ISIS is a potential threat for us, too.

However, Isis’s main base is in Syria, not Iraq.  Naturally, it has all been nodded through by another coalition of the more-or-less willing to bypass the UN Security Council.

America shaped a coalition with its western and regional allies to fight ISIS terrorist group that was shaped, armed, and funded by them.  They launched airstrikes against their handmade terrorism in Iraq.  However, ISIS’s main base was in Syria, not Iraq.  Therefore, Obama has also gearing up for an illegal bombing campaign in Syria and the training of an extra 5,000 "moderate rebels" who do not really exist.  Again, ISIS becomes an alibi for attacking Syria.  In a statement issued by the Defense Ministry of America, American officials declared that they have attacked ISIS targets inside Syria without informing Syrian government.

According to Guardian Barack Obama promised that, his plans to destroy the ISIS terrorist group would “not involve American combat troops”.  This week General Dempsey, the chairperson of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that is exactly what he would be “recommending”, if air power did not work.

If "work" means destroy ISIS’s grip on western Iraq and eastern Syria, it will not.  So expect the new war that Chuck Hagel, the US defense secretary, says will last several years to ramp up in the months ahead.  Yesterday, Obama stuck to his formula.  However, there are already 1,600 US military "advisers" on the ground.  Special Forces will no doubt be back in serious numbers before long.

Therefore, a year after the US and its allies planned to bomb Bashar al-Assad’s forces, they are now planning to bomb his enemies.  They will never destroy ISIS that on the one hand is their apparatus to fight government that try to be independent player is political scene and on the other hand is an excuse for them to attack and invade other countries.

America and its allies only try to fulfill their own interests, including:

1.      Tipping the balance in favor of rebels in Syria battlefield

2.      Destroying Syria's substructures

3.      Attacking Syria to topple down Bashar al-Assad government

4.      Paving way for ground attack to Iraq and Syria

5.      Saving their face as anti-terrorism pioneers
