Alwaght-On Tuesday, American and Afghan officials were signed a mutual security deal in Kabul. Hanif Atmar, the national security advisor of Afghanistan and James Cunningham, the American Ambassador to Kabul signed "A vital, long-delayed security deal that will allow nearly 10,000 American troops to remain in Afghanistan beyond the final withdrawal of U.S. and international combat forces this year" as The Washington Post (2014) reports.
After signing this security deal, Ashraf Ghani as the new president of Afghanistan declared that this deal was signed to preserve the national interests of Afghanistan as an independent country. He then added this agreement could guarantee the stability of the region, and neighboring countries of Afghanistan, as well.
