Alwaght-Although Central Asia is relatively far from the West Asia, but Syria and Iraq recent developments have had direct impact on Islamic sentiment of Central Asian countries. Meanwhile, some experts believe that Central Asia will be turned into a dangerous area due to the following several factors:
The withdrawal of international forces from Afghanistan, the extralegal governments and elderly presidents of countries such as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are among the factors. In addition, some analysts believe that Tajikistan will face many challenges due to its long borders with Afghanistan. Therefore, it will be unable to protect the borders in the mountainous areas in the future.
Although Emomalii Rahmon, Tajikistan's president has defeated all his political competitors and established the status of society, the threat of radical groups has remained one of the most important future challenges in Tajikistan.
The other forehead threat for Tajikistan is the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan that is recently attracting the young people from Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Unemployment, poverty, unawareness of true Islam and restrictions on carrying out religious deeds are the main reasons behind membership of the young in these extremist groups.
