ALWAGHT- Israeli forces persist in carrying out attacks across the Gaza Strip despite ongoing ceasefire violations.
Israeli attacks continued across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, the 368th day since the ceasefire was announced, killing several Palestinians and injuring dozens more. Four people were killed in a strike on Panda Mall in western Gaza, while Mohammad al-Nakhalah, 44, was killed and several others wounded in an attack near Al-Mahatta Mosque in the al-Tuffah neighborhood. Eight-year-old Shahd Abdul Razzaq al-Najjar was also killed by fire from an Israeli quadcopter drone in Gaza City.
Additional casualties were reported in several areas, including Khan Younis, Rafah, Jabalia, and central Gaza. Mousa Abu Dan died from injuries sustained in an earlier strike on a tent in al-Mawasi, while Israeli forces reportedly fired toward tents sheltering displaced Palestinians. A drone attack near Haidar Roundabout in western Gaza City wounded several people, and other incidents left Palestinians injured in southern Gaza.
According to figures cited in the report, 10 Palestinians were killed and 65 injured over a 24-hour period. Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, the reported toll has risen to 1,481 deaths and 5,254 injuries, with another 836 bodies recovered. The overall death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, was reported at 74,370, with 175,371 people wounded.
Meanwhile, more than 100 humanitarian and civil society organizations have warned that the ceasefire has failed to stop deadly attacks. Citing figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry, aid groups said more than 1,400 Palestinians, including at least 327 children, had been killed over the preceding year. Humanitarian officials stressed that children continued to die despite the truce, while UNICEF and Save the Children reported extensive child casualties throughout the war, including thousands of children killed, injured, or missing beneath the rubble.
