IRGC and Army Commanders Emphasize Need for Robust Defense

ALWAGHT- Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander-in-Chief Major General Ahmad Vahidi and Army Commander Major General Amir Hatami held talks on the latest military developments, stressing the need to maintain a strong defense posture in the face of threats against Iran.

IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Ahmad Vahidi and Army Commander Major General Amir Hatami praised Iran’s armed forces for defending the country’s independence, national security and territorial integrity during the recent conflict. They paid tribute to military personnel martyred in the fighting and highlighted the Army’s battlefield performance.

Vahidi attributed what he described as Iran’s success to national unity and close coordination among the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. He also praised the Army and IRGC for their operational capabilities and resistance during the conflict.

Hatami stressed the Iranian nation’s determination to defend its national interests and reject pressure from its adversaries. He described the IRGC as a key pillar of Iran’s national power, security and deterrence, while honoring commanders and personnel killed in defense of the country.

Both commanders said Iran would continue the path of those killed in the conflict and would not compromise on its national interests. Hatami also warned of continued efforts to pressure Iran into abandoning its demands, saying the country’s armed forces would maintain their readiness and resolve.
