Iran’s Leader: Actions Undermining National Unity Are Forbidden

ALWAGHT- Iran’s Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has called for the protection of national solidarity, warning that any conduct or rhetoric that could weaken unity among society is unacceptable.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei praised the Iranian government’s efforts to provide essential services, repair damaged infrastructure and manage energy supplies amid war and intensified sanctions. He urged officials to highlight Iran’s capabilities while addressing shortcomings through practical planning.

He called for stronger measures to tackle economic challenges, including inflation, unemployment and market instability. Ayatollah Khamenei also emphasized domestic production, investment, technological innovation and reducing reliance on the dollar, while urging prudent management of imports.

Ayatollah Khamenei identified national unity and social cohesion as priorities for all state institutions, saying policies in economic, political, cultural, social and security spheres should take their impact on cohesion into account. He also warned against rhetoric that undermines public hope or creates divisive “false dichotomies.”

The leader stressed that culture, education and upbringing should be treated as “supra-strategic” issues in national policymaking. He said greater attention to these areas, along with support for teachers, academics and other professionals, would contribute to building a stronger Iran.
