Iran Warns It Will Use All Means Necessary to Counter US Aggression

ALWAGHT- Iran’s Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to using all tools necessary for self-defense, describing the US naval blockade and military actions as unlawful acts contrary to the UN Charter.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused the United States of violating the UN Charter through what it described as a naval blockade and attacks on military, civilian and infrastructure targets. It said the UN Security Council has failed to take action, comparing the situation to its inaction during the Iran-Iraq war.

The ministry also alleged that the US violated a ceasefire agreement through planned military activities, including naval movements and the use of commercial vessels to transport military personnel and equipment. It claimed US actions met the UN Charter’s criteria for threats to peace, breaches of peace and acts of aggression.

Iran said it seeks friendly relations with neighboring countries but warned against the use of regional territory for attacks. The ministry reiterated that Iran would continue defending its national sovereignty and independence against what it called US-Israeli aggression.
