ALWAGHT- Iran has entered one of the most significant wars in its modern history, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf announced on Wednesday. He urged the public to view conservation as a "missile" against the enemy and proceeded to outline five requests targeting various segments of society—including Iranians overseas.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned that the enemy is employing a new tactic of economic pressure via a maritime blockade and media frenzy to break national cohesion. He asserted that such pressure only strengthens Iranian resolve, expressing surprise that the enemy still fails to understand that Iranians would rather sacrifice their lives than surrender.
Ghalibaf stated that enduring these hardships is necessary, as final victory will transform Iran into a key player on the global stage and pave the way for national progress. He urged citizens to practice "savings," calling it a powerful "missile" the public can fire at the heart of the enemy, while also demanding the government work to mitigate economic impacts and reassure the public.
The speaker issued five specific requests: all citizens must practice savings and urge others to do so; everyone should support each other to reduce hardships; the Basij force should prioritize public needs; experts and elites must provide solutions to officials; and Iranians abroad should leverage their economic, expert, and communication capacities to defeat the enemy.
