ALWAGHT- The Iranian Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces has cautioned that any misstep by antagonists could provoke a regional crisis, potentially exposing the US and its allies to significant security threats.
Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Iran's Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, made statements during a military unit inspection, emphasizing Iran's resistance to the US's "hegemonic and aggressive behavior" for decades.
He highlighted past setbacks inflicted on adversaries due to Iranian resilience, mentioning the 12-day conflict and previous confrontations like the Iran–Iraq war.
Mousavi warned that even a minor miscalculation by antagonists would prompt immediate action from Iran, potentially putting American personnel at risk and igniting a regional crisis.
The Iranian military chief also dismissed claims about the possibility of a maritime blockade against Iran, noting that its geographic position makes such an action impractical. Additionally, he mentioned revisions to Iran's defense doctrine in response to the 12-day conflict, focusing on offensive strategies and rapid operations.
