ALWAGHT- Violent rioters targeting public and private properties in multiple Iranian cities on Thursday night caused significant damage, injuring civilians and security personnel.
The violent unrest that erupted in several Iranian cities on Thursday night resulted in significant damage to government buildings, private shops, and mosques. Rioters backed by the monarchy were observed vandalizing public properties, blocking streets, attacking administrative offices and police stations, and causing injuries to security personnel.
In a statement on Friday morning, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei expressed outrage over the damage inflicted in Tehran and other cities. He accused Donald Trump of killing Iranians by ordering attacks during the 12-day conflict in June 2025 that claimed the lives of over 1,000 Iranians, including military leaders, scientists, and ordinary citizens.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized Iran’s resolve to confront vandals and reject any mercenary attitudes toward outsiders. He stressed that the Islamic nation would never tolerate such actions or be swayed by those who Desired personal gain at the expense of the country. In addressing the youth, he urged them to preserve their vigilance, unity, and presence in facing all challenges, asserting that a cohesive society would emerge victorious in any adversity.
