ALWAGHT- The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization said the country is advancing in nuclear science alongside leading global powers despite ongoing hostility.
During the inauguration of the plasma therapy center at Shahid Mohammadi Hospital, Vice President Mohammad Eslami highlighted Iran’s scientific progress despite external pressures. He emphasized that the country’s youth and indigenous expertise have driven Iran to the forefront of innovation, with advances in plasma therapy, water purification, and agricultural technologies.
Eslami criticized dominant powers, particularly the US, for attempting to hinder Iran’s scientific growth, framing these efforts as part of a long history of exploitation. He stressed that the Islamic Revolution ended such external interference and enabled Iran to pursue technological and scientific self-reliance.
The Vice President also underscored the expansion of nuclear technology in health, environmental protection, and food security. He highlighted the development of “cold plasma” technology, noting its growing applications across medical centers, agriculture, and economic sectors, reinforcing Iran’s position at the global frontier of scientific advancement.
