IRGC Detains Terrorists with Mossad Ties in Iran Amid Israel’s 12-Day War

ALWAGHT- The IRGC announced the arrest of a Mossad-linked terrorist network in Khorasan Razavi province for espionage and operations in Iran during Israel’s recent 12-day attack.

The IRGC’s intelligence forces in Khorasan Razavi announced the arrest of eight operatives linked to Israel’s Mossad and collaborating with separatist groups. The detainees had received specialized online training and were reportedly sending information on sensitive facilities and high-ranking military figures to Mossad. Security forces seized materials for explosives, bombs, and launchers, preventing planned attacks on national and military officials as well as key sites in Mashhad.

The IRGC emphasized that the arrests, carried out under full intelligence surveillance, demonstrated the vigilance and operational readiness of its forces in protecting national security against foreign espionage and sabotage. The network had been in contact with separatist groups and was intercepted before any operations could be executed.

The announcement comes in the context of Israel’s 12-day aggression against Iran beginning June 13, which killed over 1,000 people, including military commanders and civilians, and US bombings of Iranian nuclear sites. In response, Iranian forces struck strategic targets in Israeli-occupied territories and the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, ultimately halting the aggression by June 24.
