ALWAGHT- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf denounced the Zionist regime’s brutal actions in Gaza and its aggression toward Iran, warning that the 21st-century Nazis must be stopped before it's too late.
In a powerful address at the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, describing it as a catastrophe comparable to the darkest chapters of human history. He referred to Israel as the “Nazis of the 21st century,” warning that if the regime is not stopped, humanity risks being consumed by oppression and violence. He emphasized that Gaza has become more than just a conflict zone—it is now a site of mass slaughter driven by a dangerous ideology.
Qalibaf also condemned the Israeli military attacks on Iran, calling them a direct threat to Iranian sovereignty and global stability. He criticized international institutions for their inaction, questioning the effectiveness and credibility of bodies like the UN Security Council. He stated that Iran’s military response was a legitimate act of self-defense, taken without relying on international guarantees or great-power mediation during the 12-day conflict.
The Israeli attacks on June 13 targeted Iranian military, nuclear, and civilian sites, prompting swift retaliatory strikes from Iran. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps launched 22 waves of missile attacks on Israeli cities under Operation True Promise III, inflicting significant damage. In response to US involvement and strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, Iranian forces launched missiles at al-Udeid air base in Qatar. Hostilities ended with a ceasefire on June 24.
