ALWAGHT- Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chairman of the Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff, stated that the Islamic Republic responded firmly and decisively to the US-Israeli military aggression.
General Mousavi spoke with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah on Tuesday, highlighting that the Iranian Armed Forces have strongly resisted aggression and bullying. He stated that the 12-day imposed war demonstrated the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic and garnered support from Muslim governments and freedom-loving peoples worldwide, exposing the disregard of international norms by the US and Israel.
Mousavi accused Washington of fully supporting Israel with intelligence and logistics in its actions against Iran’s retaliatory missile and drone strikes. He expressed gratitude to Qatar for condemning the aggressors and standing firmly with the oppressed people of Palestine throughout the conflict.
In response, the Qatari minister extended condolences over the martyrdom of Iran’s Major General Mohammad Baqeri and reaffirmed Qatar’s condemnation of Israeli aggression against Iran. He emphasized that Qatar would not permit its airspace or territory to be used for attacks against Iran, underscoring Doha’s supportive stance.
