ALWAGHT- On Thursday, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution sent a message congratulating the Iranian nation on its splendid victory, following the cessation of Israeli aggression and the regime’s unilateral ceasefire declaration.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in his third televised message since the Israeli regime launched unprovoked aggression against Iran on June 13, declared that the Zionist regime was crushed by the Iranian armed forces. He congratulated the Iranian nation on this "glorious victory," praising the military’s ability to breach Israel’s advanced defense systems and inflict significant damage on military and urban centers. He also honored the martyrs, including senior commanders and scientists, who remained faithful until death, emphasizing that the scale of Iran’s strikes had surprised its enemies.
Ayatollah Khamenei further condemned the United States for its direct involvement, stating that the US entered the conflict fearing the complete destruction of the Zionist regime but ultimately gained nothing. He highlighted Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes on the US’s largest military base in West Asia, located in Qatar, calling it a "hand slap to America’s face." He dismissed US President Donald Trump’s exaggerated claims about the damage inflicted on Iran’s nuclear facilities and warned that Iran’s nuclear program remains intact and will continue. Ayatollah Khamenei also emphasized that any future aggression against Iran would come at a heavy cost, underscoring Iran’s capability to strike key US centers in the region when necessary.
In the final part of his message, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the extraordinary unity and solidarity of the nearly 90 million Iranians during the conflict, noting their unified voice and support for the armed forces. He rejected Trump’s demand that Iran surrender, calling it a "joke" given Iran’s great history, culture, and national will forged in steel. He reiterated that the US hostility toward Iran stems from its desire for Iran’s total surrender, which will never happen. The Supreme Leader reaffirmed Iran’s honor, resilience, and continued victory, warning that any repeated aggression would provoke a severe response.
