President Warns That the Region’s Peace Is at Risk If Israeli Aggression Against Iran Persists

ALWAGHT- According to President Pezeshkian, the Israeli regime’s violations of international norms threaten the prospects for sustainable peace and stability in the region if such conduct persists.

During a phone call with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday, President Pezeshkian emphasized that from the outset, he has aimed to foster unity and solidarity both within Iran and in cooperation with other nations. He pointed out that the Israeli regime attempted to undermine Iran’s peace initiatives by assassinating Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

He also highlighted that the ongoing Israeli aggression against Iran began while Tehran was engaged in talks with the US to demonstrate the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, condemning the attacks as efforts to obstruct these diplomatic negotiations.

In response, the Emirati president expressed his country's support for the Iranian government and people, noting that the UAE has initiated broad negotiations aimed at reducing regional tensions and restoring stability and security.
