ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that the Iranian people require greater unity and solidarity than ever before and must come together to firmly oppose the aggression of the genocidal Israeli regime.
During a parliamentary session, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned the Israeli regime's attacks that resulted in the deaths of several Iranian military commanders, scientists, and civilians. He emphasized that violence and assassinations will not remove Iran from the scene, asserting that for every martyr, many more will rise to resist oppression and injustice. Pezeshkian called for national unity, urging all Iranians to set aside differences and stand firmly against the aggression of the Israeli regime, which he described as genocidal.
Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s right to pursue nuclear energy and research for national interests, stating that no power can deny this right. He highlighted Iran’s solidarity with other Islamic nations and criticized the US for enabling Israeli attacks on Iran, stressing that Iran neither seeks nor initiates war. He condemned the targeted killings of Iranian scientists and commanders, questioning the justification for such assassinations.
The recent Israeli strikes killed high-ranking Iranian military leaders and nuclear scientists, including Major General Mohammad Bagheri and Dr. Fereydoon Abbasi. In response, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched multiple retaliatory waves against Israeli-occupied territories under “Operation True Promise III,” with the latest strikes described as the most powerful and crushing to date.
