ALWAGHT- The Gaza media office claims the Israeli regime intentionally targets civilians in Gaza as part of a deliberate genocide strategy.
In a statement released on Monday, the Gaza media office accused the Israeli regime of targeting civilians, with over 65% of those killed being children, women, and the elderly. The statement reported that more than 18,000 children and 12,400 women have been killed, along with the destruction of over 2,180 families in Gaza.
The office highlighted the significant loss of healthcare and humanitarian workers, with over 1,400 doctors and healthcare staff killed, as well as 113 Civil Defense personnel, 212 journalists, and over 750 aid workers. It also reported the deaths of more than 13,000 students, over 800 educators, and numerous scholars and civil sector workers, all victims of the ongoing violence.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 52,243 Palestinians have died and 117,600 have been wounded since the conflict began on October 7, 2023. Despite initial ceasefire agreements, Israel resumed its bombardment in March 2024, continuing its aggressive campaign against Gaza.
