ALWAGHT- Iran’s defense minister has praised the advanced capabilities of the country’s Armed Forces, particularly in air defense and naval warfare.
Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh announced the integration of 1,000 advanced drones into Iran’s Army Combat Organization during a special ceremony. These drones enhance the Army's air defense and offensive capabilities, enabling it to dominate the skies and deliver decisive blows to adversaries if needed. The drones include models capable of sea operations and smart integration with Ground Forces, reflecting directives from Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to bolster Iran’s defense infrastructure.
Nasirzadeh highlighted the sophistication of Iran’s military equipment, emphasizing that only a fraction of its capabilities has been showcased during exercises. He underscored the role of artificial intelligence in advancing drone technologies and praised the synergy between the defense industry and the Army. This collaboration has matured the Army’s use of drones, enabling innovative strategies across its fourfold military branches.
The official vowed that Iran’s Armed Forces would prevent any enemy violations, crediting the defense industry for equipping the military with cutting-edge tools, including First-Person View (FPV) drones. Army Chief Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi reinforced this message, describing integration ceremonies and drills as evidence of the forces' readiness. He reassured the nation of the military’s commitment to defending Iran's sovereignty and values.
Mousavi described the latest integration as the second major transfer of drones to the Army, noting that the defense industry expedited the process by six months to address emerging field requirements. With growing drone capabilities, he predicted the potential establishment of a dedicated Drone Force within the Army. Mousavi urged Iran's enemies to avoid aggression, affirming the nation's steadfast resolve to protect its Islamic Revolution and national dignity.
