ALWAGHT- Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has described the Israeli regime as “powerless” in confronting Yemen’s anti-Israeli attacks in the occupied Palestinian territories and beyond.
Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has emphasized that its operations aim to halt the genocide in Gaza, accusing the Israeli regime of relying on external support due to its inability to confront Yemen’s strikes independently. Since October 7, 2023, Yemen’s Armed Forces have launched multiple attacks targeting American military assets near Yemen’s coastline, strategic sites within occupied territories, and Israeli vessels. These actions have been in response to the US-backed Israeli war on Gaza, which has claimed over 45,200 Palestinian lives, mostly women and children.
The strikes have imposed significant logistical and economic pressure on Israel by forcing vessels carrying military supplies and goods to reroute around Africa and effectively shutting down the port of Eilat. Yemen’s Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi has warned the US of the country’s capability to sink American naval fleets and hinted at undisclosed weaponry yet to be deployed. Ansarullah official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti added that these operations have created an economic siege and undermined Israeli security, while intensifying Western and Israeli attacks on Yemen in retaliation.
Bukhaiti expressed Yemen’s resolve to stand with Gaza, stating the nation is willing to endure sacrifices in the face of aggression. He rejected Western claims labeling Ansarullah as a terrorist organization, countering that the real terrorists are those responsible for atrocities in Gaza and their supporters. He affirmed Yemen’s readiness to continue its pro-Palestinian operations despite potential setbacks, noting that such confrontations have historically strengthened Yemen’s internal unity and resolve.
Furthermore, Yemen’s strikes have disrupted US missile defense systems, reportedly causing friendly fire that brought down an American warplane. Bukhaiti described the attacks on American and Israeli targets as highly effective, achieving their intended objectives since the operations began. Yemen’s actions reflect its determination to challenge both Israeli aggression and its Western backers while asserting its commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause.
