20 Settlers Injured as a Yemen-Fired Missile Hits Tel Aviv

20 Settlers Injured as a Yemen-Fired Missile Hits Tel Aviv

ALWAGHT- At least 20 Israeli settlers were injured when a ballistic missile from Yemen struck central Israeli-occupied territories, as Yemeni Armed Forces intensified operations supporting Palestinians in Gaza.

The Haaretz newspaper reported that emergency teams from the Zionist regime confirmed 20 injured individuals were transferred to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon and Ichilov Hospital after a missile struck early Saturday. Footage from the impact site revealed a crater, with sirens sounding across central occupied territories at 3:44 a.m. local time (0144 GMT), forcing millions into shelters.

The Israeli military admitted its interception attempts failed and stated that the incident is under investigation. Videos circulating online captured the moment of impact, failed interceptions, shattered windows, and debris in nearby apartments, likely caused by the shockwave.

This attack came just two days after Yemeni forces targeted two "strategic" military sites in Tel Aviv with Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles. Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed the strikes, highlighting Yemen’s support for Gaza.

In retaliation, Israeli warplanes bombed Haziz and Dhahban power stations near Sanaa, as well as Hudaydah port and Ras Isa oil terminal, with 14 jets dropping over 60 munitions.

Yemeni forces have vowed to continue attacks until Israel ceases its offensive in Gaza. Since October 7, 2023, when Operation Al-Aqsa Storm began, Israel has killed over 45,206 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 107,512 others in Gaza.

The US has also intervened, deploying B-2 stealth bombers to strike Yemen in support of Israel, aiming to suppress retaliatory actions by Sanaa.
