ALWAGHT- The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah successfully disrupted the electricity supply in Nahariya, a city in northern occupied Palestine.
A Hezbollah drone strike reportedly disrupted electricity in Nahariya, a city in northern occupied territories, according to Israel's Channel 12. The Israeli military claimed the drone was intercepted by the Air Force, but debris from it struck an apartment building as it fell. Sirens sounded in Nahariya, West Galilee, and surrounding areas during the incident.
Additionally, rockets were fired from Lebanon toward the Galilee region, with Al Jazeera reporting at least ten projectiles targeting the area. Sirens were triggered across multiple northern locations, including Betzet, Rosh HaNikra, and Milouot Industrial Zone North. Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for a drone attack on a “vital target” in occupied Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), marking their second such operation.
These developments come amidst heightened regional tensions fueled by Israel's ongoing war in Gaza, which has lasted over 400 days. The conflict has resulted in over 43,760 Palestinian deaths, predominantly women and children, along with more than 103,490 injuries. In Lebanon, Israeli strikes over the past year have killed 3,287 people and injured 14,222 others, primarily civilians.
In response to Israel’s actions in Gaza, resistance movements in Lebanon and Iraq have escalated military operations against Israeli positions. These actions are part of broader regional resistance efforts to counter the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip and beyond.
