ALWAGHT- Officials from Iran and the Russian Federation discussed the completion of the North-South railway and transportation corridors.
Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh Malvajerd, met with Igor Levitin, Senior Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, to discuss the completion of the North-South railway and transportation corridors.
During their meeting, both parties highlighted the importance of enhancing infrastructural cooperation and developing international transportation routes, which are crucial for boosting regional trade and economic relations.
Levitin, who previously served as Russia's Minister of Roads for eight years, took the opportunity to congratulate Sadegh Malvajerd on her new role and emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in rail transport logistics.
In response, Iran’s roads minister underscored the importance of fully utilizing the existing rail capacities of both countries.
