ALWAGHT- The Palestinian Red Crescent Society cautions about the potential for disease outbreaks among internally displaced people in northern Gaza following the lifting of the blockade.
On Monday, the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza reported that they had managed to breach the siege imposed on northern Gaza, despite facing multiple attacks from Israeli occupation forces, according to a report by Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV English.
The Red Crescent underscored the serious fuel shortages that have compelled them to suspend operations for 18 of their ambulances, heightening concerns about the potential spread of diseases among displaced individuals.
In a statement, the Gaza-based Red Crescent appealed to international stakeholders to urgently pressure the Israeli occupation to respect international law. The organization emphasized the pressing necessity for immediate intervention to avert a humanitarian crisis.
