ALWAGHT- Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, opposed any plans or proposals for governing the Gaza Strip that involve anything other than a purely Palestinian administration of the besieged territory.
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a strongly worded statement rejecting any proposals or comments supporting plans to deploy foreign troops in the Gaza Strip "under any justification."
The movement stated that the administration of Gaza's affairs, after the war ends, is exclusively a Palestinian issue to be determined only by the Palestinian people.
Hamas emphasized, "We will not allow any guardianship or the imposition of external solutions or [plans] that undermine the Palestinian people's principles," which are based on their right to freedom and self-determination.
It called on all Islamic and Arab nations to advocate for an end to the Israeli genocidal war on the Palestinian people and to support the besieged residents of the Gaza Strip.
The statement also urged Islamic and Arab states to "fulfill their obligations toward [the Palestinian] people, their land, and the Islamic and Christian sanctities," which have been desecrated by "fascist settler criminal gangs."
