Alwaght- Yemeni forces have shot down another Saudi spy drone in the northwestern Sa’ada Province.
According to al-Masirah TV, Yemen’s army, backed by popular committees affiliated to the Ansarullah movement, brought down the Saudi military drone in the Dhahir district of the province on Monday.
Three days ago Yemeni troops backed by fighters from the popular committees also shot down a Saudi spy drone in the country’s northwestern province of Sa’ada.
The Arabic-language Khabar news agency reported that Yemeni forces targeted the spy drone on Friday as it was flying over Kitaf district in the arid and mountainous province north of the capital, Sana’a.
On July 6, Yemeni army soldiers backed by Houthi Ansarullah fighters downed another Saudi spy drone in Yemen’s northwestern province of Sa’ada.
Elsewhere the Saudi regime continued its brutal aggression on Monday by targeting the capital Sana'a with a series of intensive air raids.
According to Yemeni news agency, Sana, the raids struck in al-Nahdain area in al-Sabeen district, which was hit for the fourth time in less than 48 hours.
A security official said the warplanes concentrated its bombing on the presidential palace, which has been bombed many times in the last two days.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for over 200 days now to restore power to Hadi. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed over 6,500 Yemenis, mostly civilians including hundreds of women and children.
Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Yemeni national military, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructure including schools, bridges, hospitals and mosques.
