US Using ISIS Terrorist Group to Partition Regional Countries: Sayyed Nasrallah

US Using ISIS Terrorist Group to Partition Regional Countries: Sayyed Nasrallah
Alwaght-Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah says the US government is using ISIS terrorist group to wreak havoc on and bring about partition of regional countries.
Speaking on Friday during a ceremony in southern Lebanon on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the Divine Victory in July 2006, Nasrallah said despite Washington’s claims of battling terrorism, the US has not been serious in its so-called war on terror.
The US is taking advantage of ISIS terrorism to topple governments in the region, particularly those of Iraq and Syria, and “draw new maps,” he added.
"The US uses ISIS today to divide the region whether ISIS knows that or not," noted the Hezbollah leader.
Sayyed Nasrallah said the resistance front must confront the plot by the US and its allies to use terrorism as a tool to impose their own maps on the region.
The Hezbollah leader urged Arab and Muslim masses to reject the partition projects while calling on religious scholars and Imams of the Muslim Ummah to shoulder the responsibility of educating the public about the dangers of these plans.
"Today, we reject the current partition... This what the US, Israeli and some regional regimes are working on - whether intentionally or accidentally - including the Saudi Arabia," he said.

Battle in Syria
Commenting on the battle against terrorists in Syria, Nasrallah dismissed claims that the Lebanese resistance movement seeks division in the Arab country.
The fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement have been engaged in joint operations with the Syrian army against terrorists in the Lebanon-Syria border region over the past few months.
Hezbollah forces are fighting, alongside the Syrian army, for the sake of Syria remaining united, Nasrallah said.

ISIS crimes in Iraq
Sayyed Nasrallah conveyed his condolences to the Iraqi people on the recent massacre committed by ISIS in al-Sadr district in Baghdad, that killed more than 70 people and left several hundreds wounded. He said that Iraqis were asked to change their government in order to receive support to fight terrorism, but that promise was not fulfilled, adding that the US is cooperating with ISIS in Iraq to fight the national forces.
"It [the US] employs terrorism to implement its project of partition," Sayyed Nasrallah said.

Saudi-US aggression on Yemen to fail
Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated Hezbollah’s condemnation of the Saudi-US aggression on Yemen that sets the basis for other serious aggressions by the Israeli regime and the United States. He stressed that the aggression on Yemen will not achieve its goals since Yemenis are fighting for a cause with faith, steadfastness and dignity.

2006 Victory in Israeli regime war on Lebanon
In his speech, Sayyid Nasrallah also hailed the 2006 victory of the Lebanese resistance movement during the war with the Israeli regime.
He said the victory was one of God’s blessings to the Lebanese people, adding that the achievement changed the equation of power in the region.
The Tel Aviv regime was humiliated during the days of the battle and Israeli officials have admitted it, the Hezbollah secretary general said.
He reaffirmed Lebanon’s strong determination to counter the Israeli acts of aggression, saying the nation is well capable of protecting itself in the face of terror threats in the region through resistance.
About 1,200 Lebanese, most of them civilians, were killed in the Israeli war on Lebanon in the summer of 2006. However, Hezbollah fighters defeated the Israeli military, forcing Tel Aviv to retreat without achieving any of its objectives.
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that every spot of the Lebanese land will be fortified to destroy the Israeli regime tanks and defeat the regime’s army.
The Hezbollah leader stated that the Zionist enemy failed in land, sea and air during July war, because "there is no way for you [the Zionists] to reach or to stay in this land, and what happened in July War is being taught as a new military theory."
He also stressed that Hezbollah presented the strategy of al-Hujeir Valley against the Israeli strategy of incursion and that Hezbollah's will and determination are now stronger than it was in 2006.
Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that Hezbollah celebrates August 14 of every year in order to learn lessons from the event it represents, encouraging the Lebanese people to withstand against the enemy project and thwart its plans and achieve victory against the terrorists and the strongest army in the region.

Political crisis in Lebanon

Hezbollah Secretary General stressed the party's stance on the presidency challenge, reiterating the full support of Gen. Micheal Aoun. He also urged all the political factions in the country to unite and build a strong state that serves its entire population without discrimination. Sayyed Nasrallah also rejected claims of Iranian interference in Hezbollah's position in this regard.
