Russia Helps Syrian Army Target Militants’ Bases in Hama, Idlib

Alwaght- Syrian army, backed by Russian military intelligence, targeted militants bases inside northern Hama and southern Idlib on Sunday night.

Al Masdar News cited military source in Mhardeh as saying that the Russian military provided Syrian forces with the locations of militants, paving the way for their artillery and missile units hit their targets directly.

In particular, the Syrian Army was able to strike the Free Idlib Army base inside the town of Al-Latamnah; this attack resulted in the death of at least three militants.

Furthermore, the Syrian Aab Army targeted militants' bases inside the southern countryside of the Idlib Governorate.

The Syrian Army reportedly targeted the Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham bases inside the towns of Al-Taman’ah and Khuwayn; this resulted in several powerful explosions that could be heard overnight along the Idlib-Hama axis.

Over the last ten days, the Russian Air Force has been conducting several reconnaissance flights across the Idlib demilitarized zone.

These Russian surveillance flights have been collecting information about the militants inside the Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, and Latakia provinces.
