Alwaght-Hezbollah resistance fighters and the Syrian Army advanced in Zabadani plains and controlled the area of Darb al-Sham which is the terrorists' supply route towards Baradah.
According to Al Manar TV, on Sunday the Resistance and the Syrian military killed 20 terrorists who were trying to flee Zabadani city to the north-west of Damascus, tightening the noose on the rest of the militants in the city.
The ongoing battle in Zabadani is part of a wider operation launched by the Syrian forces and the resistance movement’s fighters on May 4, which has driven terrorists out of more larges swathes of the territory previously controlled by them in the mountainous region.
Qalamoun, which straddles the Lebanese-Syrian border, was previously used by the al-Nusra Front militants for transferring weapons and ammunition into Syria, where they have been involved in acts of violence and terrorism.
