Yemeni Resistance Forces Intensify Retaliatory Attacks on Saudi Army Bases

Yemeni Resistance Forces Intensify Retaliatory Attacks on Saudi Army Bases
Alwaght- Yemen’s Ansarullah movement and allied army units launched missile attacks on three Saudi military bases on the southwestern border province of Najran early on Monday.

The Yemeni army and Ansarullah resistance fighters also launched missile attacks on the Saudi military bases in Dhahran in Assir province.

Local sources informed that the Yemeni forces have also attacked several Saudi military bases in Jizan. These attacks are carried out retaliation for Saudi Arabia’s brutal airstrikes on Yemeni civilians. Several Saudi and foreign troops have killed in the retaliatory strikes.

However, Saudi Arabia has continued it unabated aerial bombardment of civilians and  infrastructure in Yemen. In the latest incident, a road construction company in the Harad district in the northwestern Hajjah province was bombed by Saudi-led coolition. Air raids were also carried on the Dar Sa’d and Khur Maksar towns in the Aden province.

Saudi jets also carried out raids in the northwestern province of Sa'ada, where three children were killed after a residential neighborhood and two schools were bombarded on Sunday.

Saudi Arabia has been carrying out deadly air raids against Yemen since March 26 without the authorization of the UN in an attempt to weaken Yemen’s Ansarullah movement and to restore the country’s fugitive  president, Saudi's staunch puppet, to power.

According to Yemen's Freedom House Foundation, since the start of the Saudi aggression over 4,000 Yemenis have lost their lives while more than 7,000 others have been wounded.

Relief agencies have warned that 16 million out of 25 million yemen's population are in dire need of humanitarian assistance with health services on the verge of total collapse.

Meanwhile UN Human Rights spokesman Rupert Colville said on June 16 that at least 1,412 civilians, including 210 women, have been killed and a further 3,423 have been injured following Saudi-led attack on its neighbor.

The US-backed Saudi regime has totally ignored international calls to stop the vicious aggression on its southern impoverished neighbor especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
