Pezeshkian Urges Iran to Resist Pressure and Advance Scientific and Technological Capabilities

ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on the country to stand firm against bullying and unfair treatment while strengthening its scientific and technological capabilities. Speaking on Saturday, October 10, 2026, he stressed the importance of making greater use of advanced technologies to support national development.

Pezeshkian made the remarks during a ceremony marking the beginning of the 2026–2027 agricultural year at Iran’s Seed and Plant Improvement Institute in Karaj. He highlighted Iran’s existing technical expertise, particularly in assembly and artificial intelligence, and questioned why the country was not making fuller use of its technological potential.

The president also called for a review of existing production methods to determine whether they deliver the best possible results. He emphasized the need to improve the production and distribution of goods, enhance product quality, and manage supply chains more effectively.

Pezeshkian said scientific progress should translate into practical improvements, including increased agricultural output and better-quality products. He further stressed that artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies should be used to improve production processes, boost efficiency, and strengthen Iran’s technological capabilities.
