Iran Tells the UNSC Trump’s “Criminal Admission” Confirms US Role in Israel’s June Offensive

ALWAGHT- Iran states that US President Donald Trump’s public “criminal confession” demonstrates Washington’s direct role in Israel’s June aggression, holding both parties accountable for civilian casualties, extensive damage, and strikes on protected nuclear facilities.

Iran has submitted a formal complaint to the UN Security Council after former US President Donald Trump publicly stated that he was “very much in charge” of Israel’s powerful first strike on Iran in June. Tehran says this statement confirms direct US command involvement in the 12-day conflict.

Iran’s UN Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani argued that Trump’s remarks constitute proof of US orchestration of attacks that killed Iranian military leaders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, while also damaging safeguarded nuclear sites. He denounced the aggression as a serious breach of the UN Charter and international humanitarian law.

The letter rejects earlier US claims that Washington was not part of the military operations, and asserts that both the US and Israel bear full responsibility for civilian casualties and widespread destruction. Iran maintains it has the sovereign right to pursue legal accountability and demand compensations.

The June conflict began with Israeli strikes against Iran, followed days later by US attacks on nuclear facilities — moves Iran calls violations of the UN Charter and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Tehran says its retaliatory operations eventually forced an end to the offensive, criticizing Trump for contradicting his long-held claims of avoiding new wars.
