Prime Minister Salam highlighted that preserving Palestine’s ideals is crucial for regional stability. He acknowledged Lebanon’s economic and social challenges, exacerbated by Israeli aggression and the continued presence of Israeli forces in some areas. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to address these issues.
Regarding the recent cancellation of flights between Beirut and Tehran, Salam clarified that the decision was made for airport security reasons. However, he assured that Lebanon’s Foreign Minister has been instructed to coordinate with his Iranian counterpart to resolve the issue and resume civilian flights.
