Iran’s Armed Forces Pledge to Fight Until ‘Enemies Are Defeated’

ALWAGHT- Iran’s military leadership says it will continue standing against Washington and its allies, emphasizing national demands and the defense of Iran’s rights.

Iran’s General Staff of the Armed Forces said Sunday that Tehran will not retreat from what it describes as the legitimate demands of the Iranian people or its leadership. It vowed to continue pursuing the defeat of American and Israeli adversaries while defending Iran’s rights.

In a statement marking the “Return of the Liberated” anniversary, the armed forces praised the legacy of resistance established by the generation of the Islamic Revolution. It said younger generations have continued this legacy by confronting powerful foreign armies.

The statement came amid ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States. Iranian military leaders portrayed the recent confrontation with Washington as another chapter in Iran’s longstanding efforts to defend its sovereignty and maintain its resistance posture.

IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Ahmad Vahidi also praised the force’s performance during months of confrontation with the United States. He said IRGC forces maintained offensive and defensive operations despite difficult weather conditions and sustained attacks.

IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, meanwhile, said the conflict had exposed what he described as US strategic weaknesses. He argued that the confrontation demonstrated Iran’s military capabilities and its ability to influence broader military, economic, and political dynamics.
