ALWAGHT- Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff (COAS) allegedly informs US President Trump about diplomatic impasse caused by Strait of Hormuz blockade, according to Reuters.
According to Reuters, US President Donald Trump received a call from Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir, who expressed concerns over the ongoing naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz as an obstacle for negotiations with Iran.
During his trip to Iran last week, General Munir held meetings with senior Iranian officials and emphasized that the blockade serves as a barrier to progress in negotiations.
The next round of negotiations between Iran and the United States, initially scheduled for this week in Islamabad, remains uncertain due to the naval blockade and Iran's demand for its immediate lifting.
