ALWAGHT- Israeli forces have killed and wounded several Palestinians in Gaza as hostilities continue, despite a declared ceasefire.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reports that three Palestinians were killed and fifteen others injured in Gaza over the past 24 hours, despite an active ceasefire. These new casualties raise the total toll since the truce began on October 11, 2025, to 529 deaths and 1,462 injuries. The cumulative figures from the overall conflict have reached 71,803 fatalities and 171,570 injuries, with many victims still unrecovered under rubble due to Israeli restrictions on emergency crews.
According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israeli forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement 116 days after it took effect, with 1,450 documented violations since October 2025. The ongoing attacks have severely degraded Gaza’s hospital network, leaving most only partially operational and struggling to treat the wounded.
In response, senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya has stated that the Palestinian Resistance's adherence to the ceasefire is conditional on Israel being pressured to stop its violations. Hamas leadership has been engaged in intensive talks with mediators, condemning Israel’s continued military operations as based on false pretexts and holding Israel fully responsible for the stalled negotiations concerning fighters in Rafah.
Al-Hayya warned international parties of the repercussions of Israel’s near-daily military actions and clear breaches of the truce. He emphasized the urgent need for the international community to compel Israel to halt its violations and cease its crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
