Iran Calls on IAEA to Maintain Professional Conduct

ALWAGHT- Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, urged the International Atomic Energy Agency to uphold professional standards and avoid politicized approaches.

Speaking to reporters after a weekly cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, Eslami stated that the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran maintains regular contact with the UN nuclear agency, which continues to monitor its activities. He confirmed that IAEA inspectors carry out their routine inspections in Iran daily, as scheduled.

Eslami condemned the European troika’s efforts to pressure the IAEA into producing a report against Iran, urging the UN agency to uphold the rights of all member states in line with international law. He called for the IAEA to maintain professionalism, avoid politicization, and let the law guide its actions.

He expressed hope that the IAEA would not become a tool for external pressures or illegal actions against Iran.
