ALWAGHT- The commander of Iran's Army Air Defense Force emphasized the nation's complete readiness to counter any threats, cautioning adversaries that any misstep will be met with a decisive response from Tehran.
“The enemy is well aware of the readiness of Islamic Iran’s personnel and defense systems and understands that any miscalculation will be met with a firm response,” Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard stated on Sunday.
He also emphasized that Iran’s air defense forces have achieved self-sufficiency in producing detection, surveillance, and signaling systems, as well as in training skilled personnel.
“The busy skies over the Persian Gulf are continuously monitored by Iran’s air defense,” the general noted.
Sabahifard highlighted the preparedness of Iran’s southeast air defense zone, given the heavy air traffic over the Persian Gulf, adding, “Today, with God’s grace, this zone benefits from a vigilant and agile unit.”
In a 2018 speech, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei referred to the air defense base as a critical part of the Armed Forces, positioned at the frontline of defending against Iran’s enemies. The Leader also emphasized the need to accelerate the development of the base’s capabilities and the expertise of its personnel.
