Allegedly, a young Egyptian in Alexandria fatally wounded this individual, described as both an Israeli army general and a Mossad agent, using a bladed weapon.
After the news broke, an Egyptian group named "The Martyrs of Mohamed Salah" asserted responsibility for the killing of this Israeli individual, claiming he was functioning as a Mossad agent under the guise of a trader.
Mohamed Salah, a 23-year-old Egyptian border guard, was martyred on June 3rd of last year after engaging in a confrontation that resulted in the deaths of three Israeli soldiers near the Egypt border.
