Israeli Regime Forces Kill Palestinians, Impose Restrictions on al Aqsa

Alwaght- Israeli regime forces shot killed a Palestinian during clashes in occupied east al-Quds (Jerusalem) Thursday while banning Palestinian men under the age of 50 from attending today’s Friday prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian killed was shot in the chest at the Shuafat refugee camp in occupied east al-Quds, according to the Red Crescent and hospital sources.

Israeli regime forces also clashed with Palestinian protesters in Beit El settlement near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Tensions have been rising in the region over Israeli regime’s schemes against al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds.

The clashes erupted when Israeli regime forces fired tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, who were angry over provocations by Israeli forces and settlers in the holy Islamic site. The Israeli regime forces are also using live ammunition against the Palestinians

At least two Palestinians are reported to have been injured in the attacks by Israeli forces.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Right Zeid Ra’ad al-Husseinhas expressed extreme concern over the escalation of the tensions in the occupied territories, urging an end to the violence.
“The security situation has deteriorated dramatically over the past week in the West Bank, including East al-Quds,” he said.
The UN officials also slammed Israeli forces for using live ammunition against Palestinians.
“The use of .22 caliber rifles against protesters is of particular concern,” said Zeid.
He also described collective punishments, such as the demolition of Palestinian homes by Israeli forces in East al-Quds, as “both illegal and counterproductive,” adding, “Any response to the current situation must be strictly in accordance with norms and standards contained in international law.”
Meanwhile, Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man along a busy Tel Aviv road on Thursday.

Israeli forces accused the man of having stabbed four Zionists, including a trooper, with a screwdriver in Tel Aviv.
In yet another act of provocation, the Israeli regime has banned Palestinian men under the age of 50 from attending Friday prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds.
“It has been decided to limit the age of worshippers allowed entry to the Temple Mount to men over 50,” a statement by the Israeli regime police said Thursday, using the holy site's Hebrew name.
The al-Aqsa Mosque compound, located in the Israeli-occupied Old City of al-Quds, is a flashpoint holy Islamic site.
Israeli regime authorities are systematically acting to change al-Quds’ identity and character. Reports indicate that Tel Aviv is planning to build a synagogue in al-Aqsa Mosque compound as part of its measures to further Judaize the occupied Palestinian territories. The mosque is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina.
Over the past decades, Israel has tried to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites, and expelling the local Palestinian population.
