Alwaght – The member of the political council of Ansarullah movement, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, had assured to Alwaght website that the Saudi coalition had failed big time in taking control of the Yemeni city Aden, although the Saudi and Emirati aircrafts have been executing intensive raids in the past several days. Al-Bukhaiti also assured that the Yemeni army and the popular forces are continuing their defense of Aden and their combat with the invaders will persist till they purge the area from all terrorists.
According to Ansarullah spokesman, the Saudi regime and the terrorists' aggression on Yemeni lands will not stop the Yemeni resistance from its fighting duty. Also, al-Bukhaiti rejected the claims of the Saudi regime media stating that pro-Mansour Hadi forces have took full control of Aden, explaining that the Yemeni army and the popular forces are still in combat with the mercenaries and the Takfiri groups in Aden, and that the important strategic points of this city are still under the control of the Yemeni army and popular forces. He stated that the mercenaries and Takfiri groups do control some points of the city due to the aerial support supplied by the Saudi regime and Emirati forces.
To investigate the difficult situation in Yemen resulting from Saudi-led coalition's 4-month war on the Yemeni people and the embargo laid by the Saudi forces on the Yemeni civilians, and also to became aware of the goals of the media attack conducted by the Saudi regime against Ansarullah by claiming that Yemeni forces have lost control of Aden, Alwaght news and analytical website held an interview with Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a leader in Ansarullah movement and member of Ansarullah’s political council.
Here is the interview text as following:
Alwaght: The Saudi regime media such as al-Arabia channel claim that the Saudi coalition and pro-Mansour Hadi forces have full control on Aden, do you confirm their allegations or not?
Mohammad al-Bukhaiti: This is not true, and they are lying through their media and now it is clear to the entire world that Aden has not fall to them. Although some of Aden’s points turned into a military operation arena, but they did not achieve any advancement on ground and the invading forces and mercenaries have received great human and equipment losses. They have also claimed that Hadi will pray the Eid al-Fitr prayer in Aden and then they claimed that the ministers of Hadi will return to Aden, but nothing from that had occurred, because the situation in Aden did not allow it to happen. As they relied previously on the so-called ‘Decisive Storm’ and then they put their hopes on the so called 'Operation Renewal of Hope' and today they are hoping that the aerial operation and the Emirati support will achieve their goals, but all this never did and never will achieve anything.
Alwaght: So you in Ansarullah deny the claims stating that pro-Mansour Hadi forces have full control on Yemen?
Al-Bukhaiti: Yes, Aden is still standing strong in the face of the invaders and mercenaries and the Yemeni army and popular forces’ resistance is ongoing.
Alwaght: How much in percentage of the areas of Aden are still under the control of the Yemeni army and popular forces?
Al-Bukhaiti: The sensitive and important areas that contain the governmental institutes are still under the control of the Yemeni army and popular forces, in addition to the airport which is now a combat area between the invaders and the Yemeni army and popular forces, all these areas are under the Yemeni forces control, and there are also combats between the popular forces and Takfiri groups in several districts such as Akritr and Khormaksar, but in general the Saudi regime forces failed, even through its intensive strikes, to control Aden, where then the Saudi and Emirati aircrafts started striking residential areas. Also the battleships started striking in a random manner which caused the destruction of several residential neighborhoods and vital installations. The tactic of the enemy is to strike all the vital installations that are not under its control such as the roads, electric and water stations, and bridges, in order to increase the suffering of the civilians so that they can stand in front of the Yemeni army and popular forces. Concerning the percentage of area, 50 % of Aden is under the control of the Yemeni army and popular forces and 50% is under the invaders and mercenaries.
Alwaght: There is a psychological war conducted by the Saudi regime media in order to weaken the morale of the Yemeni army and popular forces, including the claim of Nayef al-Bakri (the so-called new governor of Aden as Saudi media claim), where he says that they have prisoners from Ansarullah and between them may be the brother of Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, what is your response to such allegations?
Al-Bukhaiti: If any of our members have fell in the enemies hand and were taken prisoners, then it is normal since the battle is on our land and it is possible that some people fall prisoners in the hand of the enemies when they are defending their country, but none of our leaders have been taken as a prisoner.
Alwaght: What is your take on Khalid Mashaal’s visit to Saudi Arabia, and what are your information about the news stating that Saudi Arabia asked Khaled Mashaal to supply it with hundreds of fighters to send them to Saudi Arabia in order to fight the Yemeni people?
Al-Bukhaiti: We heard news about the Saudi request from Khaled Mashaal to help it in its war on Yemen, but we have no information confirming this issue, and we do not think Hamas will do such a thing, but concerning the Saudi regime, we do not doubt that it may beg from anyone for help in its war on Yemen as it did before with Syria. But we say to everyone, including our brothers in Hamas, that the war that is conducted against us is an American-Israeli regime war conducted by the Saudi regime. We encourage all the Arabian countries and governments to strengthen their relations with Hamas as a Palestinian resistance against the [Israeli regime], stop benefiting from the Palestinian resistance for their own political interests, and also allow the Palestinian resistance to stay on its track and keep it in its own correct framework in order to confront the Israeli regime. In any case, we support Hamas in its fight against Israeli regime. But sorry to say, some Arab governments including the Saudi regime are trying to change the direction of the resistance compass, which must be always ready to confront the Israeli regime, and instead try to use it for their own benefits. We will stay supporting the stances of Hamas which is confronting the Israeli regime, we will remain with the Palestinian people defending the Palestinian case, and we will not allow the Saudi regime to alter our stances toward the Palestinian people’s resistance.
