Alwaght- A US Air Force helicopter evacuated at least 20 ISIS terrorist group field commanders from Syria's Deir ez-Zor.
According to a report by Sputnik news a military and diplomatic source has revealed that, “Amid successful actions by Syrian government troops in the eastern part of Syria in late August, a number of field ISIS commanders backed by US special services, had been promptly evacuated from Deir ez-Zor to safer regions in order to use their experience in other directions."
The source said that the first such extraction took place on August 26, a “US Air Force helicopter” had evacuated 2 ISIS field commanders of “European origin” with members of their families from an area located to the north-west of Deir ez-Zor at night.
According to his data, two days later, US choppers transferred 20 ISIS field commanders and militants close to them from an area south-eastern of the city of Deir ez-Zor to northern Syria.
“Militants, who lost their commanders due to the Americans, usually tend to cease organized actions, leave their positions, join other [ISIS terrorist] units or one by one flee. This eventually contributes to the success of the offensive by the Syrian government troops in eastern Syria,” the source said.
When contacted by Sputnik, the Combined Joint Task Force of the Operation Inherent Resolve’s press office has called the allegations “false.”
This is not the first time the US is blamed for rescuing ISIS terrorist group commanders in Syria. In June this year, US military helicopters evacuated a number of ISIS terrorist group commanders out of their stronghold in Syria's Raqqa taking them to an undisclosed destination.
A member of the People’s Council Ammar Assad disclosed that three weeks ago US helicopters evacuated a number of ISIS Takfiri terrorist group commanders out of Raqqa and that most of them were Western nationals.
Assad added that the US forced the so-called “Syrian Democratic Forces” to let scores of ISIS terrorists leave Raqqa.
Different foreign-backed terrorist groups have been wreaking havoc in Syria since 2011. Over the past few months, Syrian forces have made sweeping gains against Takfiri elements, who have lately increased their acts of violence across the country following a series of defeats on the ground.
Syria blames the US and its regional allies especially Saudi Arabia of being the main supporters of terrorist groups in the country.
