Concerns arise within the occupied cabinet; Is Netanyahu dreaming of finding Sinwar’s shadow?

ALWAGHT- According to an analyst in the Hebrew media, there's anticipation across the occupied lands for "Yahya Sinwar's" decision. Conversely, in another segment of the analysis, it's noted: "A source within the government structure informed me that Rafah would ultimately serve as a symbolic gesture."

Nahum Barnea, a Zionist media analyst in Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, wrote: "At the time of writing these lines, Hamas' response to Egypt's proposal has not yet arrived. When everyone waits day and night for the response of one person, namely Yahya Sinwar, it shows that we are in a difficult and dangerous situation. Each of the ministers in the Security Cabinet has different hopes and aspirations. Gantz, Gallant, Eisenkot, and Deri hope for a positive response from Sinwar. Erdan is still in doubt because it's difficult for him to step out of the decision-making zone Netanyahu has set for him. It's no coincidence that he's called 'Bibi's little one'. As for Netanyahu, it suffices to say that Hamas' negative response will lead to better conditions for him in dealing with Smotrich, Ben Gvir, and the White House."

Last Thursday, Netanyahu faced unanimity. The War Cabinet convened to discuss Egypt's proposal, and all security force commanders supported the implementation of this proposal: the Chief of Staff of the Army, the head of the Shin Bet, Nitzan Alon, the army representative in the negotiations, and also Barnea, the head of the Mossad, meaning all Cabinet members, including Erdan, agreed.

Those present at the meeting realized that Netanyahu was surprised and worried. He felt trapped in a trap and a conspiracy, and since that day, neither the Cabinet nor the War Council has convened.
