ALWAGHT- President Masoud Pezeshkian said completed joint transit corridor projects will mark a new chapter in Iran–Russia relations.
President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to fully implementing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement during a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev, citing steady progress across transport, energy, oil and gas, agriculture, and security sectors.
Describing Iran–Russia relations as expanding and strategic, Pezeshkian said close coordination with President Vladimir Putin has produced decisions serving both nations’ interests, while stressing that regional states should strengthen cooperation to counter unilateralism and reduce external interference.
Tsivilev called the latest Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation “positive and fruitful,” saying Russia views ties with Iran as a top priority and remains committed to deepening cooperation, adding that no external force can undermine the strategic partnership between the two countries.
